Labelex started in Gauteng producing adhesive labels for local food and FMCG brands. We grew the way businesses are supposed to — through repeat clients, consistent quality and word of mouth rather than borrowed money or aggressive sales.
Sixteen years later we are still Gauteng based. Still serving the same industries we started with alongside hundreds of new clients across every South African province. We have expanded our product range, our substrate library and our delivery reach — one justified step at a time.
What has not changed is the way we work. Every order is managed directly by our team. You deal with people who know your brief, know your product and know what needs to happen to get your labels to your door on time.
01 · Foundation
Started with adhesive sticker labels
Serving Gauteng food and FMCG brands. Coated paper and basic substrates. Built on repeat orders and direct client relationships.
02 · Expansion
Substrate range grown to 7 options
Added BOPP, synthetic paper, metallised films, kraft and luxury texture to serve cosmetics, pharmaceutical and premium brand clients.
03 · Second format
Heat shrink sleeve capability added
PETG, PVC and opaque white shrink film. Brought in to serve beverage, personal care and supplement brands needing 360 degree coverage.
04 · Third format
Hot melt glue label capability added
High volume roll-fed labelling for cylindrical containers. Added to serve FMCG and beverage producers running large scale production lines.
05 · National reach
Delivering to all nine provinces
Nationwide courier network established. Tracking on every order. Same lead time regardless of destination — 14 to 21 days from deposit to door.
06 · Today
Three formats, 13 substrates, nationwide
16 years in the label business. Minimum order R3,000. Every order quality checked and shown to the client via WhatsApp before dispatch.
